Whether it be a trip, a wedding or just a regular day at home, everybody loves to reminisce about old times. Luckily there are more ways to collect and share memories these days with so many technologies at our disposal. Memories are something we like to look back on with fondness throughout our life, and it’s important to keep them safe and easily accessible if we can! Film them

Probably the most effective way of keeping your memories close is by filming them as they happen. Nearly everyone has a video recorder with them wherever they go, and it’s less of a hassle than ever before to pull out your smartphone and record those special moments when they come along.

You can even convert old film formats to DVD, USB or digital if you are worried they might be getting old and potentially will soon be unusable. Film to digital services allows you to take your old footage on VHS tapes, mini-DVDs or old 8mm film and put it in a format you can more easily use, share and store.

Technology has provided us with numerous ways to store our memories virtually forever, whether they be images, photos or audio files. These platforms allow you to organise your memories and share them with friends, always having them available to check out from nearly anywhere.

Keeping a journal is probably much less popular than it once was, but there’s something truly special about reading over things you wrote years ago. Travel journals for instance - which are still practiced by certain kinds of travelers - can take you back in a way that a video or an image simply can’t. Spending time with old belongings of yours from years ago is another great way to relive special moments.
